I’ve been a Finnair gold member for years. Considering the decline in quality over the years I’ve been flying, I’ve been thinking of never using Finnair again even though I’m Finnish and I offer travel this distance.
Bag is always either delayed by days or damaged; this is also the reason I finally decided to write this review. My bag was heavily damaged after my flight on 30. 12. Zipper can’t be closed anymore after my bag was security checked for what ever reason. So the zipper is effectively broken and I have to get an other Samsonite Hardcover Bag worth hundreds of euros.
Declining quality can also be seen during travel. My table in business class was dirty and let’s not even start talking about the toilet.
The only good thing remaining is the excellent stewardess service.
Even costumer service didn’t Funktion when I tried to complain about the bag being broken.
If you can, fly something else which is cheaper at least then it isn’t this bad when bag gets damaged or anything else happens. This is coming from a Finnair costumer since 10 years with over 50 flights and gold membership.
