Thankfully, we only flew this one way, which was enough to leave me shocked and adamant that I would not be using this airline in the future. Their service was appalling; they scheduled the flight with a one-hour stopover in Abu Dhabi, but by avoiding flying over a war zone, we arrived 26 minutes late. They made no effort to help us catch our connecting flight and instead informed us that the next flight to Phuket was 12 hours later and was actually fully booked. They offered us a flight an hour later that would stop in Bangkok, and we could then take a local flight to Phuket. If that didn't work, we would have to wait 24 hours for the next direct flight. Our total travel time, which should have taken 15 hours, ended up being 32 hours to reach our final destination. The service onboard the flight was just as bad; I'm grateful that our return flight was with Singapore Airlines, which was pleasant and timely. I would absolutely recommend them!

Absolute scam! Paid 500 euros for a one-way “economy” ticket from Palermo to Colombo with Etihad and ITA Airways, and they have the nerve to include only a 7 kg carry-on. NO checked baggage!

When I called Etihad to ask about adding a checked bag, all I got were useless answers. They said it’d cost *anywhere* between $44 to an outrageous $125 for every 5 kg – they couldn’t even confirm a set price until I got to the airport! So what, I could end up paying hundreds more just for my luggage?

And the worst part: Etihad and ITA keep bouncing me back and forth, with neither taking responsibility. Their “solution”? A pathetic refund of 43 euros for taxes if I cancel. It’s bait-and-switch at its worst. Never again with this airline.

During the booking flow, your baggage allowance is displayed to allow you to choose as per preference based on your fare choice which also includes the no bag option. If there is more than one carrier in the booking, extra baggage can only be added at the airport. 1 dot is actually too generous, 0 should be available, what a disgrace of an airline, we had an unforgettable nightmare, from the beginning to the end, i have nothing good to say about them, the boarding was absolute rubbish, by bus, no bridge, once we arrived to the plane we had to wait for 20min, no AC, later on we are informed to board through the rear door, very strange for business class passengers, but the door was shut, so we had to wait for 20min on the stairs, then they said board through the front door but we were also stopped and not allowed, so we had to wait again, the plane was refuelling, didn't feel safe at all.
Finally we take are seats, very old, outdated and very uncomfortable, not to mention the food, dear lord, we had what we thought it was "fish" but that was something else, we couldnt even cut through, disgusting, entertainment on board was terrible, a plane in the 80's had better enterteinment than that, pathetic.

I honestly do not understand how they can take advantage of customers like that and get away with it, its unbelievable and the airline couldn't care less, thousands of dollars waisted, infuriating.

Avoid Etihad Airways especially if flying business/first class. The experience is awful. Awful layout, rude hostesses, dirty toilets and old interior. Bags went missing and damaged upon arrival. Making a claim was a nightmare.

Direct overnight flight ABU DHABI - PARIS on A380, economy class with family.
Efficient online check-in.

Check-in in Abu Dhabi in a line specially dedicated to families! Well done!
Quick check-in.

Small entertainment for the welcome on the A380, very nice.
Very clean, very comfortable aircraft for economy class.

Toy bag given to children. Stickers for the flight on the A380.
Good snacks and breakfast.

Simple but efficient service.

Multimedia simple and not very rich for French speakers.

Would recommend.
