What a disgusting, greedy airline - I have been refused a refund from Etihad despite having a medically unfit to fly certificate and being hospitalised; apparently unless my illness was TERMINAL, I do not qualify for a refund and Etihad would rather me fly and have a potential medical emergency onboard. An appalling experience from start to finish, even trying to obtain a cancellation invoice has been exacerbating. Ryanair would be more sympathetic.

Having great difficulty amending my seat on the "Manage" screen of Etihad, booked and paid for Flight and seats early in the year but decided to see how full the glight was and maybe move/upgrade my seat, however since the booking/payment i have been unable to view my seats and amend them myself...it seems I have to contact Customer services and let them do it. I regard this as a step back as it was so easy to do it myself online....HIGHLY FRUSTRATING SYSTEM.

I was supposed to fly together with my family from Singapore to Rome on July 21. The flight was delayed 1 full day due to technical issues with the plane. We experienced the worst assistance from the ground crew at the airport where we were stuck until 2AM. I am trying to get customer service assistance for the customary compensation for this type of inconvenience, but there is no way to get to the procedure/forms. The website is not clear on this topic and the chat functionality does not contemplate it (guess why...). I will do my very best to avoid this airline for the rest of my life and recommend others to do the same. Thanks God there are many other airlines for the same itinerary

This was my email to them on the 30th of July, i received an email back on the 11th of september after a month and a half saying " I am sorry to hear that you did not receive our complimentary chauffeur service. After reviewing the situation, I wish to clarify that our complimentary chauffeur service does not include Business Class Value fares"

Dear Etihad Airways,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service and treatment I experienced during my recent journey with your airline.

As a long-standing Etihad Business Class customer, I have come to expect a certain standard of service and amenities, one of which has been the complimentary chauffeur service from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. This has been a consistent and much-appreciated perk that I have enjoyed on numerous occasions when traveling with your airline.

However, upon my arrival at Abu Dhabi airport on flight EY654 from Cairo on July 30, 2024, I was informed at the front desk that I was not eligible for the complimentary chauffeur service, despite having booked a Business Class ticket. This was the first time I had encountered such an issue.

Furthermore, I was informed that this restriction applied to Business Class Value fares, which I had booked using my Etihad Guest miles. There was no indication on your website or during the booking process that this service was not available for these particular fares.

Perplexed by this sudden change, I sought to speak with the person in charge to understand the situation better. Unfortunately, the experience only continued to deteriorate from there. I was shuffled between three different representatives, each of whom displayed a severe lack of courtesy and customer service. One individual, Sannan Tariq from the ground operations team, was particularly challenging and even somewhat intimidating in his approach.

When I requested Sannan Tariq's name to include in my complaint, he obligingly wrote it down for me, displaying a complete disregard for the gravity of the situation and the impact it has had on me as a long-standing and loyal Etihad customer.

I am deeply surprised and disappointed by the attitude and behavior of your staff, which is in stark contrast to the exceptional service I have come to expect from Etihad Airways. This experience has left me stranded at the airport, with no means to return to Dubai, as I had been relying entirely on the complimentary chauffeur service that I had always received in the past.

I would like to know how Etihad Airways intends to address this matter and the actions that will be taken to rectify the situation. As a valued customer who has been loyal to your airline for years, I deserve a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this issue.

I had a flight from Phuket to Abu Dhabi and from Dubai to Bishkek after (by Emirates). But Etihad told me that my flight is overbooked and I don't fly today. I lost time, money for my second tickets, and also now 22 days already and they didn't back my money for original tickets ($2100, not cheap). Etihad Airways is scammers.

P.S. And I am an influencer with 2M subscribers in social media, and they know it. Just imagine.
