“Etihad flight free bus free hotel”

In economy class I had the usual problems of someone who is 6ft 4in. No leg room, but to be fair I could actually fit my knees in the room available, which isn't the case with all airlines. Other than that the flights were pretty good. Service very good. Price was very good. Food was . . . Er . . . Well just the airline usual !! A couple of weeks before we flew we discovered that if you fly etihad and stop in abu Dhabi you can get a couple nights hotel accommodation free. Unfortunately it was too late for us as nothing was available, but I would definitely check that out next time. However we also discovered that etihad do a free coach service to Dubai (about 1.5hours from abu Dhabi airport). We had already decided to go to Dubai so finding we could use a free transport service was great. Bus was good air conditioned and they provided free water. At the drop off in Dubai there were lots of taxis waiting so it was pretty easy to get to our hotel from there.

I know these are short flights. But no TVs. Only two rows with a set of three seats either side. But something new as they don’t have TVs. Apparently you can download an app and watch it on your smart phone or tablet using the plane Wi-fi. However I tried and it did not work. Also I would of hoped some one would check the food as it was the worst sandwich I had ever tasted. And I’m not sure even what it was suppose to be. They was terrible. Would not even
Give them to the hungry. It was like eating rocks.

Since, the customer service dont have operator that can give you answer, but only all automated voicemail, we find all the other ways how we can book our coach , though there is booking in the website but its not giving you the the exact place of the coach terminal. Luckily we had found it in Mazaya Center not very far from BUrj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station on the opposite side , 5 minutes walk going to Mazaya Center, and their office is inside the mall. The clerk suggested us , its only to reserve thru the website.

hi - this is really a warning more than anything else. i have been a very regular flyer with etihad for 10 years. in-flight experience was always great (although declining in the past few years), but customer care equally has always been non-existent (so many instances of simply avoiding any accountability for their wrong doing).
this latest episode however is one too many and i will avoid etihad going forward.
my wife, pregnant with our 4th child (and she has flown regularly during the other 3 pregnancies) was off-boarded along with our 2 year old daughter. the flight clearance certificate she diligently obtained from her doctor (in turn head of one of abu dhabi's prime gynecology departments) the day before her flight to attend her father's 70th birthday, didn't include terms used in etihad's own form. all this although her doctor sent etihad an email at 7am (on her weekend...she certainly is a star!) confirming all queries etihad had. but, o wonder, my wife was allowed to board a flight 5 hours later once the form was used. of course after etihad charged us for re-booking. pure greed and dis-concern for guests wellbeing (btw they claim that is their main concern so clearly stressing a traveler out to the point of tears does not count).
anyway, simply disgusted with them, and can only recommend that you do not trust someone's medical expertise, but use the form on etihad's website, if you intend to travel with them...which by the way, i will avoid from now on!

The flight was OK the food served was not nice and quantity was little.
During the night, hostess went around with instant noodle soup and when I requested one, she asked me for Dhs 10?
this is first time I have to pay extra for my food on a long haul flight!
it is humiliating and it is very disappointing.
A shame for an airline which pretend to be the National career of UAE.
Etihad is behaving like a low cost careered!
