But Egyptair is absolutely the worst airline I have ever encountered.
Their customer service is NONEXISTENT, the staff have no idea what they're doing.
Their call center is terrible and nothing about this airline is good.
They are unable to look up the status of a flight with just the flight number. They need your specific booking reference to look it up. I asked if the MS085 is operating on a specific date (that was only 5 days out from the date that I asked).
They didnt know how to answer. They asked for my booking reference. What happens if I didn't make a booking?? Then are they unable to provide an answer?
I had made one booking and then received an email saying that particular flight got cancelled and that I was put on another one. I never confirmed that I would go on the later flight. On their website I saw that the original flight was still available so I purchased that flight.
I then called them and asked if this particular flight was available, and they gave me two different answers depending on the booking reference number I gave them.
??????????? I asked them to listen to what they're saying and if it makes any sense. Literally about the same flight you say it's operating and then say its cancelled when provided another reference number. When the customer rep herself didnt know she said she'll transfer me to another person. I DID THIS FIVE TIMES. I repeated the same thing over and over and over and OVER AGAIN. I asked for their manager and the sixth person said to tell him and that he will be able to help me. I told him the situation and he told me sorry call back in an hour, management will be here. I asked him to give me the manager's direct line he said he doesn't have it and to call the call center. ARE YOU KIDDING ME EGYPTAIR??????
And your email service isn't any better. No follow ups, noone knows what theyre doing. I can go on and on and on about this airline but honestly everyone who's reading this, save your money, save your time and get on another flight.
If i could give it a negative rating i really would. Absolutely terrible service.
