EgyptAir cancelled the flight but still haven't refunded the ticket 2 months after asking. Don't waste your money or time with this airline.

In addition to my bad experience, they left my bag at the connecting flight. I had to spend more getting a spare change of clothes and utilities.

If toy really have to fly with them, carry a few items to survive in your carry on luggage

It’s been horrible service form Egypt airline at the airport first form Aircraft waited 15 minutes for bus they don’t have two buses passengers need to wait till first bus drop the 20 passengers on the mine lounge to mine lounge then after 30 minutes another lounge then on security system to slow you to come inside close to aircraft security staff check the passport ones all water bottles taken form as not allow water 50ml not allowed after that again scanning all the bags jackets shoes very very rude staff the. After they check all 50ml orange juice not allowed then again two man seating after all boarding & security check passport the. Talking on Arabic language Not English they don’t know but working on international airport but No English after writing the passport number in there manual book passport numbers there writing is so so dirty I have no words no manners how to deal with international passengers hopeless service I never ever recommend to anyone travel with Egypt airways worsted airline and airport service in the world I travel all over the world in 28 age my name is in geninessbook of the world recorded but this service I never ever recommend to anyone shameful service by Egypt Airlines airport security staff is very very rude which is a shamelessly behavior form them unprofessional people on airport security staff

Here to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent experience flying with EgyptAir and transiting through Cairo Airport from Saudi Arabia to Cyprus. The experience was not only frustrating but also deeply concerning for its lack of professionalism and security.
Firstly, the flight from Saudi Arabia was delayed, and no proper announcements or updates about the revised take-off time were made at the boarding gate. This lack of communication caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for passengers who were left wondering about the status of their flight. Secondly, upon reaching Cyprus, I discovered that my checked luggage had been tampered with during the transit in Cairo. Several personal items were stolen, which is a blatant violation of passenger rights and security standards. It is unacceptable that such incidents occur under the supervision of EgyptAir and Cairo Airport authorities, who are responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of passengers' belongings.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning the reliability and professionalism of both EgyptAir and Cairo Airport. It is the airline and airport's duty to ensure timely communication, secure handling of luggage, and respect for passengers' trust. Unfortunately, these basic expectations were not met.
I strongly urge EgyptAir and Cairo Airport to take immediate action to improve their services, enhance security measures, and establish accountability for such incidents. Until such improvements are made, I cannot recommend EgyptAir or Cairo Airport as a reliable choice for travel, especially for those transiting through Cairo. This experience has severely tarnished my trust in your airline and airport services. I hope that you will take these concerns seriously and work towards preventing such incidents in the future.
