Absolutely terrible. They canceled my flight 3 days in advanced for “weather.” I got rebooked from direct to a connection flight with a 3 hour layover.

The plane was broken the tray table by my seat didn’t even work with a giant sticker on it. They’re cheap and barely supplied in flight service. And then despite me paying in extra $39 for a premium seat so could get off faster the back of the plane bum rushed the door. I missed my next mode of transport by 3 mins. Deff could’ve made it. And lastly they had us valet our bags. Instead of us getting our bags they just let everyone grab from the trolley. PSA IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I ALMOST NEVER WANT TO FLY AMERICAN AGAIN.

The flight must be departed 10:50 am , after no credible excuses depart 3:30 pm. They give us $15 dollars to buy lunch. But just a water bottle at the airport terminal is 5 dollars.

I gotta say THE WORST airline I've ever been on, and I've tried them all even frontier is better than American airlines. After flying back into the country from jamaica our connecting flight had only 1 hour of layover which is NOT NEARLY enough time to get through tsa which basically sets you up to miss flights on the way home. It's weird on the way there 0 layover but on the way home 19 hours no accomodations made slept at the airport not a good time made all of us a day late back to our work and normal lives from vacation adding stress to the end of it.

We flew JFK to LHR during the daytime on American. The flight left about 10:00 AM and arrived at LHR about 10:00 PM. The flight was smooth. We had exit row seats that have legroom, but do not recline much. We are fine with that. These are our favorite seats. The food was terrible. The food in coach has been this way for a long time. We like American, but bring your own food!

No compensation to speak of after almost 7 hour delay. They said it was weather and mechanical related. There was no issue with the weather on the route.
