Active duty military, I flew multiple times with different airlines. Last couple times flew with American Airlines it has been terrible experience. All I can say is they don’t care about active military service.

On the flight down, delayed over an hour because a maintenance man wouldn’t answer his phone. One the way home, delayed over an hour because their de-icing truck wouldn’t start - and they boarded passengers anyway “just because” as the flight attendant joked about having to sit here with no food or bathroom breaks. If I couldn’t do my basic job, I would get fired… yet this company is allowed to get away with useless employee behavior that affects hundreds of people trying to travel. ZERO stars.

Worst airline l've ever used in my life. My flight was canceled five hours before departure so when I called over the phone, I was told I was stuck in Jamaica until Saturday. Basically, four days atter my departure date when I could look at my phone and see flights leaving the same day. When I brought this to the goat lovers attention over the phone he abruptly hung up on me.
I paid $2600 for flights and after two weeks of fighting through emails, calls, going to the airport itself, I managed to only get $233 back..... which is the most they said they can do even though I spent $2600.
Worst airline and customer service l've ever dealt with and I will never be returning. Lost a customer for life. Avoid this airline you will get Fd over.

Shows Dallas but Munich Germany was our final destination.

First they offer people money on the spot to take later flights, yet cause delays and take up your vacation time, make you jump through hoops while on vacation to do the job they should do.

We were told we had to call a airport in Madrid to find our luggage! Our flight originally wasn't even supposed to go to Madrid. This was after being told our bags never left Dallas!

Not only did they cancel our direct flight the stop they added they didn't even make sure we had a gate. So I believe we were informed that 98% of our flight missed their next flight. I know we missed ours and we kept missing them because of American Airlines.

Not only did we miss that flight we missed at least 3 other connections on the same trip. They didn't get our luggage to us for days after we arrived. Now you many think it can not get worse, we'll you would be wrong. We had to fill out online paperwork to get reimbursement for clothes we had to buy, their system wouldn't expect it because it couldn't find our flight. We tried many times and it wouldn't locate our flight so I finally reached out via email and was told sorry you filed too late! Really I should have to loose funds because American Airlines is the worse airline ever.

This company throws money at people because they over book flights then make people who should get refunds jump through hoops and then their system causes more issues and they refuse to reimburse funds they promise you if you spent they will reimburse you.

Worse Airline ever!! Charge you all kinds of fees and money for bags and don't even get the luggage to you on time. We are talking a small amount that 3 of us spent around $1000 dollars for all 3 of us for 4 days of clothes.

They required me to file while I was on vacation. So more time on vacation was taken up because they can not do their job!

Our suitcases where returned to us badly damaged please see attached pictures for your reference. These were brand new suitcases we brought especially for our trip. They weren't even supposed to go in the hold as we only required cabin luggage for our trip, but we kindly gave them up after an announcement was made explaining that the flight was very full and they required passengers to do this if possible, so we did without the hesitation and this is the state we get them back in? I feel very let down and disappointed by this and wish I'd never let them leave our sides. Also 1 cabin crew member was very rude during our flight and my sons entertainment system wasn't working so had to be rebooted. I wanted to make a official complaint regarding our baggage rather than put all this on here. But due to their online automated system and only having 7 days to claim for damaged baggage (it was literally Christmas when we arrived back so didn't get round to it) it was made impossible and this seems my only option left!
