Terrible airline. Do not book with American airline. They lost my baggage not once but TWICE. I arrived to my vacation and didn’t have a single belonging. Was forced to buy things on the resort to get me by. American Airlines promised a refund for the inconvenience and also told me to save every receipt of items bought to also get refunded for that as well. It’s been a month since my vacation no refund. No answers. I spent 103$ just on a bathing suit alone. I wasn’t prepared to buy new toiletries or clothing it ruined my whole entire trip that I booked to enjoy aside from my stressful life. American Airlines did nothing but add to the stress I already had and not refund MY MONEY that I deserve. Not even a flight credit. NOTHING. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
Where to start. the website sucks, their customer service reps are miserable and nasty, and of course, where I live is their hub and I can only book direct flights through them. I would rather have an 8 hour travel day for a 2 hour nonstop if it means avoiding them.
WORST FLIGHT EVER. I’ve been flying with them since September last year and EVERY FLIGHT COMES WITH MORE OF 2h of DELAY. All my family and friends who use this company has the same problem too, so they have long delays most of the time. TODAY WAS THE REALLY LAST. WE BOARDED THE AIRPLANE AND 30-60min later THEY DELAY THE FLIGHT FOR THE NEXT MORNING. IM DONE. THERE ARE BETTER AIRLINES OUT THERE
An absolute lousy airline. For naming them selves after America, they surely missed the mark in priding themselves with service and integrity.
My flight was delayed 2 hours and this is only after changing gates 3 times!
The flight was nothing special. What put the cherry on top for me is when we landed we had to wait inside the plane at the gate (15+mins) for a worker to dock the plane to the gateway. Please keep in mind we landed at Newark airport (one of the major hubs for nyc/nj and this so called “airline” didn’t have someone ready to do their job upon landing.
I am a frequent traveler and this experience only put the nail in the coffin in PROVING how incompetent this company is.
