“Nice flight to Rarotonga”

Nice Monday morning departure from Auckland to Rarotonga with Nicki my partner , my son Kendall and his partner Tash, very disappointed we all did not get to sit next to each other or even close, Nicki and I had to sit across the isle from each other while Kendall and Tash were some 10 rows up and again opposite each other in an isle, disappointed as this was the first time we had all travelled together and were looking forward to the chats etc through to Rarotonga.
The flight back to NZ was even worse for Kendall and Tash as they weren't even seated next to each again in fact some 4 rows apart, not good enough when you pay and book to travel this far and was booked some 6 months ago,
Very Dissapointed.

I have not flown with ANZ for some time,however BA's weak frequent flyer scheme has led me away. Also the price of my flight £460 may well have had something to do with it,
Right let's get down to the nitty gritty, the seats were comfortable, slightly more leg room than other competitors, the food was excellent, free alcoholic beverages the entertainment package was good and extremely polite and professional cabin crew, some of the seats do have equipment boxes under the seat,check seat guru obviously

Love our national carrier. From check-in to landing, the crew go out of their way to make the long haul experience as pleasurable as possible.
Food on-board was great, as well as the drinks service. The bulkhead seat was comfortable to raise the legs to avoid swollen lower limbs.

Looking forward to the return leg home to Auckland. Hopefully the ground staff in L.A. can match the attitude of their Auckland counterparts.

We were treated as "royalty" yes we paid a little extra; but for the extra leg room and service it was worth it. Had to trave back in Economy Class, and were very surpised that the service there was just as good. The leg room is not as great but the seat were as comfortable as you would find any where. The plane was fully booked yet still felt as there was plenty of room. Great flight both ways.

I was fortunate enough to be upgraded tp premium economy.OMG what a lovely experience after flying from Toronto to Vancouver to New Zealand. The service was like being in a fivestar hotel.
