I have flown a lot on Air Canada, & it seems to me that the staff are much friendlier than in the past. Good service.

This would have been a five star review were it not for the terrible toilets! But first the good stuff -

Premium economy seat: Good width and leg room and ok recline.

Cabin crew: professional, efficient and friendly.

Food: good quality and served with proper crockery and cutlery. Choice of stuffed chicken or vegetarian pasta. Both are dishes from the business class menu and were good quality. Pretzels served halfway through flight and hot snack (meat or veggie) before landing.

Punctuality: excellent

Toilets: horrendous. Most airlines have toilets for premium economy either at the front of the cabin shared with the business class or at the back of the cabin shared with economy. But on this flight the toilets were half way down the economy cabin, small, cramped and grotty.

Apart from that a good, comfortable flight, although the toilets would make me think twice before flying with them again.

This is the second time that we have purchased extra leg room seats well in advance and when we get to the airport they have changed the aircraft and all of the people who have paid for their preferred seats are out of luck. How is it not possible that when you change planes to make some effort to try to accommodate peoples paid choices. All they say is basically too bad you will get a refund.

Used Toronto as a stop over to Havana, never again. It is over 3 months since I logged a complaint about my ripped brand new Osprey rucksack protector (lucky I had one the rucksack cost far more) Damaged beyond repair. Put in claim immediately, no response, nothing. Put in another, heard nothing. Horrible desk staff, so rude to other passengers who luggage was lost. Flight was delayed by 4 hours, rubbish food, dirty toilets, I am small, cramped leg room, poor guy behind me was in agony, never ever using this air line again. In flight media didn't work. Aeroflot were better than this. Using Iberia this year for Havana, don't bother with Air Canada

The only way I will fly on this airline is if it is the only choice. They are always late, they lose luggage and have terrible customer service. Avoid this garbage airline at all costs. You will be disappointed!
