“Flight to Ireland, long layovers each way, but most had these”
Review of Air Canada

Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My first over seas flight, picked AC because I could drive to Cincinnati and only had one layover, each way, which were sort of long. Found a good price booking early, though times changed by departure. Cin. to Toronto and back flights were a little tight, small plane but comfortable enough for the short time. Times arrived in Dublin in the morning, flying overnight, shortened by flying east. Food was good, considering the level of airline food these days, NOT 1980's Frontier food. I enjoyed the flight and had an enlightening experience spending 4 hours in the Toronto airport.

Air Canada is the worst air line. Rude staff very old planes. I would never fly with them again. Entertainment system is not good. Food is really bad

Rouge service was disappointing; No entertainment system resulted in a voucher for 10% off a future flight which must be completed within one year. Not much consolidation for a 8 hour flight.

I find Air Canada reliable for departure times and professional in their customer service. Their meals are typically pretty decent and they try to make a 13+ hour flight in economy as comfortable as possible.

They used to be a bit pricier than West Jet or Lufthansa etc. but I find them to be very comparable now and they are just as friendly and customer oriented. They also tend to have direct flights to all the major cities world wide. I typically go with who ever has the best price for a direct flight - which often is Air Canada.
