“Not a Positive Experience”
Review of Adria Airways [no longer operating] - CLOSED

This was truly an economy airline. We waited at our gate, checked the monitor, and at boarding time realized that the gate had been moved. We heard no announcements and hurried to the new gate. All of our bags had to be checked or gate checked because the plane was so small.

We were herded on to a bus after walking down a flight of stairs. We stood on the bus for some time until the bus driver drove us to the small plane. We had to put our gate checked bags on a cart and wait our turn to get on the tiny airplane. The flight was short and when we arrived, we waited for our gate checked baggage, collected it, and boarded another bus to get to the terminal.

This airline was the only one that could get us to our destination in a short period of time, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience

Decided to take this airline from Zurich to Slovenia.

Our 2pm flight was cancelled one week prior to our scheduled flight. We called their customer service at their local time (12 midnight in west coast USA). It took 45 minutes to get in touch of them but they have automated voice response noted your wait time is less than 2 minutes.

We were able to change our flight without cost added but we had to wait to we got to Zurich to get our seats together.

The flight itself wasn’t bad. The people at the checkin area gave us the wrong baggage tags and had to get new ones at the gate.

I would try to avoid flying this airline.

Sorry that this small airline collapsed. We flew with them from Tlv to Ljubljana and during our stay in Slovenia the airline collapsed. I appreciate very much that they took us to a hotel near the Croatian border for one night including 2 meals, we could enjoy our rooms until 6 Pm and then they brought us to Zagreb and we were flown to Tel Aviv by Croatia airways.
This is a glorious fall.

The company is stuffed.
You will be lucky if you take off, if at all.
We were cancelled, a friend had 2 x 4 hour delays.
This is easy, don’t book.

I had a flight from Sofia to Copenhagen via Ljubljana - got stuck in Ljubljana because the flight had engine trouble. No information provided about alternatives or length of the delay - just continuous stalling: "more information in an hour" etc. Food after a few hours was a very dry cheese sandwich and a miniature bottle of water. Started to worry we would never leave. Finally, after a 6-hour delay, they used another plane to get us to Copenhagen. They dutifully handed out the EU compensation forms but completely ignored the claims made.

I'm now using a company to claim compensation and it is going to court - I'm sure I'll win but very doubtful I'll ever see my 250 Euros if the articles online are any indication. They must be in serious financial trouble! Would never fly again.
