Appalling service. Booked with Crystal;3 desks open for 2 fully booked flights. I was still queueing to check in when final boarding was called and we joined the huge queue 2 hours and 5 minutes before the departure time.
Booking with Inghams next time and willa void Crystal and Birmingham wheneve possible

As mass market tour operator Thomas Cook always have something to prove to their clients, that is good service and value for money. Clients need to assess this service on what they received as opposed to what they thought they should have received. So, in the final analysis, you are only buying a seat form A to B to enjoy some time in the sun. Expect a seat with minimum leg room and friendly in flight service and be happy with that.

I’ve read the reviews, dozens of them, having a go at poor service, delays, inconsiderate staff etc etc but I can’t disagree more strongly. By far the cheapest ticket out there and by no means “you get what you pay for”. A direct flight. Easy check in. On time boarding. Comfortable and certainly easily on a par, if not better, than other carriers. Leg room fine. Toilets fine. Food perfectly acceptable and rather nice actually. Entertainment perfectly good. Cabin crew lovely and helpful. A smooth, incident free flight that arrived slightly ahead of schedule. It was exactly the same flying to Barbados. I just think some people want to have a go and kick off. Only slight problem was a gentleman was taken ill on the flight and understandably we had to wait for paramedics to get him off before we disembarked. A tip going through security... if you’re from a non-visa Country and you’ve been to the US before since 2008, go to the automated passport control, you’ll be through in about 20mins.

Flew twice with Thomas Cook in 2017 so were happy to book with them again this year.
Unfortunately the experience this year was not as good as last year .
The cabin crew were great, professional and efficient.
The issues were:-
a smaller plane so less seat room and legroom and fewer toilets which on a 5.5hr flight is no joke.
Both flights last year had entertainment available via on of the Thomas Cook apps and small screens showing flying details etc - nothing at all this year.
No real food available on board unless a preordered meal had been booked and paid for .
Duty free goods now only available to pre order and pick up on return flight.
I heard many complaints from other passengers which the harassed cabin crew dealt with very professionally .
Shame that the crew were let down by the company they work for

HORRBILE flight will never fly with Thomas Cook airlines again the family hated it, not comforting not welcoming miserable hospitality 0 feel like I need another holiday after coming off that dreadful flight workers up and down the aisle like roadrunner couldn’t rest a minute very annoying. Only after did I find out the leg room is the lowest class you’ll find on any airline more seats and less passenger comfort is what matters to this airline they cramp you all up it’s like sitting on a bus with wings
