“Bunch of losers”
Review of Aeromar

Reviewed 20 November 2019

This airline are a bunch or crooks. Our flight was for 12:00 pm today nov19-19 the flight was delayed 3 times on the fourth time they canceled the flight they wouldn’t give us any refunds they said it was because of bad weather. I checked my radar weather map and there wasn’t a cloud over the sky. We lost our second flight from Guadalajara to TJ and we had to book another at full price the day after. Pay the extra dollars and get a respectable airline don’t waste your time and money on this guys.

Service on actual flight was good, getting from main terminal (United) to Aeromar terminal is "interesting" to say the least (lots of walking, then monorail ride). Then lots more walking, then a 'trolley' type bus out to the plane, climb some narrow metal stairs. Oh, but then back to the terminal and be told they needed to bring in a different plane, one hour wait in the employees break room.

Not for the 'faint of heart'. On the return flight, the agent who will process your boarding pass only gets to the desk TWO hours before your flight. Carry on is very limited, you most likely will be asked to check your luggage (and, yes, they weigh it).

Aeromar only issued a boarding pass for the first leg of my trip (PVR to Guadalajara). Without a boarding pass for the second leg (Guadalajara to Hermosillo) I was forced to hunt out the 2 nd carrier (Air Bus). Luckily I had enough time to go through the ticketing line and go back through Security to my connecting flight. Because the carrier for the connection was a different airline, Aeromar refused to issue a boarding pass. Luckily I only had carry on luggage or I would have missed my flight,

This is a small airline which has not such a big flight network like the top dogs Aeromexico or Interjet. So you can’t use it for traveling over the whole country.
But this airline is more punctual than Aeromexico and the employees are much
friendlier. I can recommend this airline.

Aeromar repeatedly delayed my afternoon flight from Mexico City to Oaxaca without explanation and then cancelled it, yet somehow they were able to put everyone on an 11:00 PM that was five hours later than my original flight. Since both flights were evidently no more than half full, it looks like this was premeditated. To add insult to injury, we kept hearing over the PA system that AeroMexico flights were routinely flying from Mexico City to Oaxaca.

I had booked my flight from the US to Oaxaca with United, and this was United's choice of airline to fly me to Oaxaca, so the point here is to be wary of the connecting airlines that you are booked on through another carrier.
