surfing at Easter

Have a partner who is very keen to surf at Raglan/Whale Bay and was wondering if it will be choc-o-bloc full of surfers there during the Easter break or whether there will still be a stong chance of him still being able to catch lots of waves?

Will need to pre-book accom there soon, any suggestions?

If the waves are there then word will soon get out and being a holiday weekend there will be more than usual in the area. In any case I don't think you need to be worried, the numbers won't be excessive. And if there is no surf on the west coast then make the two hour trip to Mt Maunganui on the east!
