Border Crossing - Capurgana into Panama

Hello. I'm looking to visit Capurgana and Choco area of Colombia in July/Aug and I am considering then crossing over into Panama and traveling through Panama after that.

I understand you can spend the day in Panama at La Miel beach however you need to cross back over to avoid issues with immigration however does anyone know if its possible to get a proper border stamp and stay in Panama? Alternatively is anyone aware of boats that might go from Capurgana to Puerto Obaldia in Panama? Much appreciated.
