Maya versus Paradisus Playa del Carmen

Maya versus Paradisus Playa del Carmen

We are traveling with 3 adults and a 7 year old . Coming at the end of June. We have stayed at all the other Iberostars on the property and decided to try the Maya this year. Then, somebody suggested the Paradisus Playa del Carmen. Any advice would be great. We enjoy the ocean and pool. Love the Lazy River. Granddaughter enjoys Star Camp, and we aren't terribly interested in nightlife.

Just noticed your post - there is a similar one that was made in the last couple of days with some replies. I did not care for the Paradisus.

Much, much prefer the Iberostar. I'm not a fan of the PDC and the beach there isn't great. I don't like that area either.

We've stayed at both and agree with others that the Maya would be the better bet, The pools and rooms are nice at Paradisus but it goes down from there. Not a very good beach and we didn't care for the food.
