Meal package

Can anyone give me any feedback on the meal package?

We are planning to use the resort as a one stop shop, not planning on trips to the mainland as we will have young children with us. Having said that though, a buffet breakfast + 2 course lunch + afternoon tea + 3 course dinner/buffet sounds like an awful lot of food to me.

Are the portions small so you need a couple of courses? We are big eaters, but if we had a normal hamburger with the lot for lunch we wouldn't have desert with it, and we definately wouldn't need afternoon tea... and if we had a full cooked breakfast then we probably wouldn't want a hamburger for lunch!

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

We didn't find them to be good value as we are not large eaters and certainly wouln't be buying 3 course meals every sitting. The meals are generous but they alternate between a-la-carte & buffet meals in the main restaurant each day. We found it better for us to just buy what we wanted. Our whole bill on checkout after 5 days, including day trips, spa treatments, meals, drinks & other activities was about $800.

Get breakfast included in your rate and then pick and choose during the day. We'd often just get a pizza to share for lunch or go to the BBQ at the Pool Bar cafe instead of eating in the main restaurant. You can just get a sandwich or snack for lunch and if the kids go to kids club in the afternoon, they get dinner included. Our son wanted to go every night as they also got icecream for dessert which isn't guaranteed if eating with Mum & Dad :)

The PM session goes until about 9pm but you can grab them out any any time after you've finished your dinner so you can put them to bed......
