Sheraton Waikiki and Sheraton Kona
I will be staying at both resorts in the coming weeks. Does anyone have any tips regarding these hotels. Also does anyone know if either hotels have a Keurig machine in the rooms?

Is there a specific reason that you have picked the Sheraton Waikiki over other properties on Oahu? It would not be my first choice of hotels in Waikiki.
Do you need to stay at a Sheraton because you are using points? You may be able to use them at the Royal Hawaiian! Wow!
If Starwood points is the issue, those can also be used at the Moana as well.
'Tis true.
We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki a couple of years back. I have to say we weren't that impressed. The rooms are small and noisy. There wasn't any place for our clothes. No dressers or bureaus, just some tiny shelves near the bathroom. And the bathroom!! It had a shuttered window that opened into the main area of the hotel room. Talk about a room with a view!! lol. Speaking of the view from the lanai.. it was breathtaking.
Before you get too worried about the Sheraton, know that it does have the best adult pool and the best kid's pool in Waikiki. The beach between the Sheraton and Royal Hawaiian is also great. The Royal Hawaiian next door is nicer and you get access to the Sheraton's kid's pool (but not the adult pool), but at a steeper price. Of course, if you're staying at the Sheraton, it is only a short walk to enjoy the amibiance of the Royal Hawaiian and get a drink at the Mai Tai Bar. You can also walk the other direction andd enjoy a mai tai and Hawaiian music at the Halekulani's House Without A Key. I can't tell you if there are coffee machines in the room, but Ibelieve there is a Peet's Coffee in the hotel and plenty of coffee shops within a short walk. Have fun.
Thanks for everyone's input we are first timers to Hawaii so we are going to experience Hawaii and not just to stay in a hotel. I think the hotel will be fine as we know it's not the Four Seasons.
I stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki and had an amazing room!! It wasn't a suite but just a regular room. It was on the top floor with a phenomenal view! Good size lanai with nice patio furniture, the room itself was pretty roomy as well and we felt we had plenty of space and places to put our clothes, etc. All in all I was very impressed with it and would stay here again. Loved the infinity pool! I would like to stay in some of the hotels others mention if they think the Sheraton isn't that great!
The thing about the Sheraton Waikiki ... it's not worth the money. Or the points.
The kids' super pools is not a Sheraton pool. It's actually owned by both resorts ... who are owned by the same people.
The Royal Hawaiian is about a million times classier than the Sheraton Waikiki. So if the points are about the same ... go for it.
If you scroll down and click on the name of the hotel, you'll get an aerial view. Pull up the RH and the Sheraton and you'll see what I mean. http://www.hawaiirevealed.com/free-travel-info/oahu/oahu-resorts/waikiki-area
Here's a rough map of Waikiki hotels. http://discounthotelshawaii.com/waikikimap.html
Aggie asked for some tips on the Sheraton, not your opinions on the Sheraton. As her trip is coming up in few weeks and no doubt already paid for, I find it quite inconsiderate to be posting that she should look into changing her hotel. You have nothing to worry about, the hotel is in a great location and has really good pools and the rooms have all been recently renovated. Request a room on a higher floor to cut down on the noise. I hope you enjoy your first trip to Waikiki!
