Midtown is often chosen by people when they go to New York for the first time, I know I did. You will be walking distance to a lot of attractions, not all of them, but quite a few.

Hotel pricing varies wildly from month to month, so you will get more appropriate suggestions if you give dates and a budget per night in US dollars.

Manhattan isnt budget Friendly, Long Island City Queens is 10 Mins from Times Square and is a little cheaper than Manhattan

Thank you! I will research Midtown.

We are from Atlanta Ga and are thinking about 7 days in mid February. I know the weather might be an issue, but we are ok with that.

I understand that February is actually one of the least expensive month to visit.

One thing to know is that just because a hotel has "Times Square" in its name does not mean that it is in the middle of Times Square.

What is your budget per night for a hotel? February is usually a less expensive month, so you have that going for you.

Budget friendly is how much and what dates? That will matter a lot for NYC.

We don’t mind a Courtyard Marriot or Fairfield type hotel, I’m just looking for advice on what area to stay. We plan on splurging on Restaurants and tours.
