Suggestions for transferring from JFK to LaGuardia airports.
I'd recommend a taxi. You can hire them in advance, though I'm sure you can also hire at the terminal.
The least expensive option would likely be the MTA, but that requires bus-->train-->other train and depends on (a) how much time you have, and (b) how willing you are to risk taking the wrong train/bus. The MTA system is complex for those who aren't familiar with it.

How many hours do you have for your connection? (Domestic or international arrival @ JFK?)
How many in your group?
Can you wrangle your luggage on public transport?
At JFK use *only* a Yellow side cab from the dispatcher line or a car service you have arranged
Ignore all solicitations - they are illegal rides

Q70 bus to Jackson Heights > E train to Sutphin/ Archer > JFK Airtrain to the terminals
