Question about time in Loch Lomond

Hello,

We'll be spending a full day and night in Glasgow and then leaving Glasgow around 10am to go to Loch Lomond by car. Curious if one full day in Loch Lomond with a car is enough to see most of it? We're thinking about leaving LL around 4pm in time to eat dinner in St. Andrews.

What is you want to see? Loch Lomond and the Trossachs is all about scenery, there are very few “attractions” to actually see.

But I’d say that 6 hours in the area would suffice.

I would think one day around Loch Lomond is Ok. You might like to check out one of the many boat trips out on the Loch!

Scenery...that's all we want to see. Excellent...boat trips I hadn't thought of that.

Thanks!

Closest place to pick up boat trips will be Balloch. From there it's a pretty straightforward drive to St Andrews.
