Public Square downtown is decorated beautifully for Christmas, and you should go in Tower City center as well as it's also got some beautiful decorations.

Be sure to hit the Great Lakes Brewing Company to taste their Christmas Ale, which is much-beloved around these parts. I also suggest the Cleveland Flea's holiday pop-up shop: https://www.theclevelandflea.com/

Must-see attractions for me (non-Christmas related) include the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Old Arcade, and the West Side Market. You might also wish to check out the Terminal Tower Observation deck, if it is open, for a nice view. Heinen's downtown grocery store is certainly worth a visit for the architecture and delicious food, beer and wine available in the rotunda of the century old bank building it occupies. There might also be Christmas concerts at various churches or the Cleveland Orchestra (although I think it's a bit early for them).

If you go to the Christmas story house, keep in mind they have their 5K/10K run on December 1. If you want to get some exercise, join the run that starts at Tower City and ends at the house. You will see lots of people dressed as characters from the movie. If you want to miss the crowds, go to the house on Sunday. You can also see the "Christmas Story' Play at Cleveland Playhouse.

Don't forget the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That is certainly a Cleveland "Must See" . Even if you don't want to spend the day in the museum, at least go to see the outside and go in the gift shop.

If you want an overview tour, take a lolly the trolly tour. They also have a holiday lights tour.

If you want to drive a bit outside of town to Medina, stop at Castle Noel.https://castlenoel.com/

We went for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. They have memorabilia from different Christmas shows. It is a guided tour so the guides will relate the items you are seeing to the parts of the movie. You can perhaps add this as a stop on the way into or out of town.

Another good Christmas stop a bit outside of town would be Stan Hywet Deck the Hall celebration.

If you were going to Castle Noel, I would go there first earlier in the afternoon, stop for a bite to eat in Medina or Fairlawn area, then head over to Stan Hywet.
