Thanksgiving in Pray

My wife, 1year old, and I will be in Pray over the Thanksgiving holiday. Would love some ideas of adventure, sight seeing, and/or activities to do while there. Any suggestions?

You will be very close to Chico Hot Springs. Check out their website to see if any of their activities work for your family.

If the weather is decent, you can drive the northern road in Yellowstone Park from the north entrance (Gardiner) to the northeast entrance (Cooke City). It will be the only road open to wheeled vehicles at that time. You won't be able to see the iconic physical attractions like Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Springs, and the upper and lower falls of the Yellowstone River, but you will be able to tour Mammoth Hot Springs and drive through Lamar Valley.

There are lots of scenic roads to drive if the weather is nice. The drive back on Mill Creek Road is very scenic. We stayed at the Mill Creek Forest Service Cabin that is almost at the end of the road and have driven back there a few times. The road is decent unless there has been a recent snowstorm.

The Montana Grizzly Encounter between Livingston and Bozeman would be a nice place to visit.
