Which beach has the warmest water??

I figured it on the bay side, but which one has a perfect combination of warmer water for kids and some tides for adults? Thank you!!!

1. Re: Which beach has the warmest water??

The two main beaches in Provincetown are Herring Cove and Race Point. Both part of the National Seashore. Herring Cove faces the Bay so it is a bit warmer than Race Point that faces the Gulf of Maine. Not sure what is the perfect combination.

Herring Cove on an outgoing tide is the warmest water on the outer cape. It is a wonderful place to swim, on the outgoing tide.
