Walking in downtown Evansville

Just got back from Evansville and wondering if it is safe to walk from The Ford Center to the casino aztar hotel after dark on the weekend. Like after a hockey game?

Depends on how late a night. Shortly after a game the Ford Center area should be okay. 2 in the morning on the hand is probably a different story. As for Riverfront as long as you stick to the actual river front and the casino area you are probably fine. Again though I'm not sure I'd be out there super late at night. I'd rate Riverfront as safter than actual downtown though.

Yes. Stay on the main streets. They are well lighted.
