Looking for things to do around Valdosta

Hi! I'll be visiting my fiance in Valdosta in April. His birthday is around that time and I was hoping to surprising him with an awesome night. I'm looking for some fun/memorable things to do in or around Valdosta. I wouldn't be opposed to going somewhere farther from Valdosta, but would need to be able to make it a one-night trip, so nowhere too far.

Any suggestions?
