wanting to know if area north of university is a good area?

we are looking for homes in valdosta area, wanting to know if cranford avenue north of university is a good area? e.g. crime, noise, etc.

Can anyone recommend a good subdivision to purchase homes in that homes are not right next to each other, safe area, not too expensive, not in downtown, but close to 1 75
