30’s bachelor party - off the beaten path? Brickell?

So, we’re headed down to Miami in late Jan for my younger brother-in-laws bachelor. I know Cliche.

Couple of us have been to SoBe a few times so we get the whole “douchie” Miami bottle service scene.

We want to have a good time but not sure I want to get caught up in the LIV, big crowd rowdyness experience ( although we’ll probably end up doing it one night just to say we did it)

We’re thinking of staying at 1 or W but based on recent reviews, I feel Like Downtown/Brickell might be more appropriate for grownups?

Any recommendations for hotel bars that get a taste of the glitz and glam without rowdy 21 yr olds?

We’re going to catch a Heat Game, 11Eleven and maybe a day time fishing exercursion. The rest of our evenings are open. Good restaurants and drink locations?

Thanks a lot!

Great meals can be had at Hutong (Chinese); Il Gabbiano (Italian); Nusr-et (steak); Osaka or Paperfish (sushi) and a relatively short Uber ride to Wynwood for Uchi (great sushi) or KYU.

Possible the new Sexy Fish might be open by the time of your visit which will be a high energy restaurant/lounge. Komodo offers a similar vibe though the crowd can be somewhat similar to a SoBe crowd. Sugar is a rooftop bar at East Hotel and is fun as is their evening speakeasy, Tea Room…..Marion is another Brickell restaurant/lounge—best nights are Thursday-Saturday nights.

Outside of Brickell, Kiki on the River is fun on a weekend evening or late afternoon into evening Sunday Funday. The Deck at Island Gardens is a bit more tame than Kiki and is more of an outdoor cabaret restaurant with Congo drums, fire baton twirlers and gals in costumes and on stilts. Joia Beach, like the Deck, is located on Jungle Island (near the cruise port) and is best on a weekend afternoon.
