ferry to Savaii

we are two passengers that need to travel on the ferry to Savaii in April. Do we need to book in advance or just turn up? What is the cost? t hanks

Just the two of you or do you want to take a car with you? Passengers alone don't need a booking; should be there about 30 minutes before departure latest. Cost is 12 Tala for an adult, one way..

But you say April ... Around Easter it can be very crowded, especially the day before Good Friday. But still no booking, only long waiting lines and overcrowded boats

If you are wanting to catch the ferry at a specific time, then for peace of mind just book a few days in advance. if wanting to take a car over then yes, you definitely should book
