I'd suggest you to look for hotel options on BT Road, instead of Rajarhat and/or Jessor Road. Though these areas probably will be within 4-5 kms, but commuting from Dunlop to these areas will be through Dum Dum (or Belgharia-Birati) which is one of the most congested areas north of Kolkata....a heck of a job....especially in the mornings and evenings.....

Now the challenge with BT Road is that it is the northern suburb and does not get much tourist footfall except for Dhakshineshwar Kali temple, but then again, tourists generally travel from other areas and do not put up here. As a result, not many well known hotel options.

Not saying that there aren't any good options....just that the lodging optons are not well known among the general tourist fraternity.

Your best option would be a local travel agent (from the Dunlop area) or anyone locally residing there. Other forum members from that area may be ablle to help.....
