Santa Ana to Leon (Nicaragua)

Hi everyone,

I cannot find this anywhere - how to get from Santa Ana to Leon in Nicaragua? Anyone travelled like that?

It seems like all the shuttles are leaving from El Tunco but I would like to avoid it due to high accommodation costs.

I have the same problem.... every company I find only goes and leaves from El Tunco...if someone can advise I am very interested too :(

Late answer but There is a private shared shuttle that brings you from Santa Ana to León by land or ferry. I am not sure I can post the name. Costs 60-80 US. Couldn’t find anything cheaper for now.
