Port Stanley - weather in Late January Volunteer point?

We are cruising with Celebrity and I booked an excursion to Volunteer Point. I am used to fall /winter weather in Pennsylvania. I realize we should plan for rain but how cold does it get this time of year?

It's not just the cold, it is the wind. You'll need good warm and windproof layers.

By the way, it is summer there, but it can still feel cold

Thanks! I keep reading about it being cold and then I check average temperatures and it was confusing.

It's the wind? It can come straight from Antarctica and change the temperature amazingly!

Usually it's from Patagonia, but even then it can surprise you.
