Packing for rainy season

Hello we’re headed to Samoa from Canada from the end of Feb for a month - 2 weeks on Savaii and 2 weeks on Upolu.

Trying to bring minimal luggage. Beachwear to pack is easy but I’m wondering about the rain - should we bring long pants/long sleeve shirts/jackets or is it still warm enough when it’s raining?

Thanks!

A light jacket might not go astray but it's still very steamy this time of year rain or not. The rain won't last all day either, mainly early morning and evening with heavy downpours that don't last long.

Enjoy your trip
