Safety when traveling to Thailand

Why do people who have never before driven a motorcycle, think that they are capable of driving

on unknown roads in a strange country, sometimes driving on a different side of the road to that

of where they come from.

I see time to time over n over again, riders wearing nothing but a swim suit and flip flops, driving on dirt roads that even the most experienced drivers would find challenging. Every day you will see people with their legs bandaged, wounds from bike engine burns, are among the most common hence the phrase Thailand Tattoo.

Great news for the thousands of dodgy doctor stations that have sprung up every where, its obviously a booming lucrative business, and what about the people that rent you these machines, they are not interested in whether you can handle a bike or not, if you fall of its more profitable for them, don’t be fooled by the fact that its cheep to rent, its expensive to fall of and that’s what keeps them in business.

Don’t rent a bike unless your qualified, If you want a tattoo just go to a tattoo parlor.

stay safe
