Hi can anyone tell me what the weather is like in September is it full sunshine or hot and cloudy thanks
Hi kevdan
September is a very pleasant time of year on the Sunshine Coast. Spring weather - nice warm days and warm nights, but without the humidity of the summer months to come. You should get plenty of sunshine, but there is also the possibility of tropical showers.
Have a look at this table of statistics - averages, of course, but will give you some idea.

Ok, be aware that you have a higher chance of thunderstorms in Feb than September, and they days will be very humid - that said, you can't be at a better place than the Sunshine Coast beaches to beat the humidity. Even if we do get storms, most of the time, you have blue sky mornings, with a storm building up in the afternoon and the heavens opening for half an hour or so, then skies clearing again...but of course, there are also possible full rainy days. This year was very dry in Feb due to El Niño - it may be the same next summer.
Cheers.

February >>
Mean rainfall = 193 mm
Mean number of days with rain = 15.5
Mean relative humidity 9 am = 73%
Mean relative humidity 3 pm = 71%
This year there was an El nino effect and it was dry - El nino is usually followed by a La nina event and La nina often results in far higher rainfall here. What next Feb will bring is anyones guess.
Hi
I would suggest you make absolutely sure that your accommodation has aircon. You'll need it at that time of year, ceiling fans won't be enough in February.
