Snowboarding Advice in Queenstown!

Hey guys! My partner and I are planning a trip to Queenstown to go snowboarding in August for about 5 days. Would love your advice on:

1. Is driving up to to Coronet Peak and Remarkables easy? Or is it better to get the shuttle

2. Recommendations on places to hire snowboarding gear?

3. Ski lift pass recs to cover both fields for about 3 days? Also considering going Japan for snowboarding early next year. Is there a pass to cover both countries?

Any advice and recommendations appreciated 🙏

It's much easier to buy a package up the mountain that includes equipment, tows and lessons. They want you hooked so make getting started cheaper.

Also you are not housing gear about with you.

Basically you take a lesson in the morning, ski in the afternoon to consolidate what you learned. Assuming you have broken any bones the next day you move up the lessons and repeat.
