hi, can anyone please tell me the post code of places in Totton where we can stop to admire Ponies and cattle.. i am travelling with my kids this weekend, also are there any picnic stops around here (so40) please?
Thanks
Would get a good map of the New Forest may be more help than sat nav
Sure locals could help more but Totten is not really in the Forest
You won't see any. Totton is well outside the forested area. It is mostly housing estates. It has got a big ASDA.
Ponies don't have post codes. Just drive into the forest national park and you will see them everywhere. Or use the post code of any new forest hotel and drive towards it. You can't miss them. Villages like Brockenhurst and Beaulieu have no cattle grids so the ponies are strolling down the high st eating flowers out of gardens.
Posted on your other link. Totton is not in the New Forest so no ponies to see there. One place we often see them aside from around Lyndhurst/Beaulieu/Borckenhurst is Burley Village near Ringwood. They like to wander around the car park perimeters.
Totton is not in the New Forest - but it is only 10 minutes away from it.
