Things to do Around Marsala

We will be staying in slightly south of Marsala for 4 days in October. We don't want to overschedule, but are thinking about things to do. We are not there on the days of the AddioPizzo tours in Palermo, but would like to do that if there is a private way to have the same information. We also are interested in the salt flats, sicilian cooking classes and just exploring little towns. Ideas and recommendations are welcome!

You can get to Trapani by train

And Mazara del Vallo Is definitely worth a visit.

Mazara del Vallo is very much worth a visit.

Trapani itself is low on attractions, but also worth a visit.

Trapani, Marsala, and Mazara del Vallo are all served by trains or AST bus.

Any recommended alternatives to an AddioPizzo tour in Palermo? We are very interested, but not in the area on the right days for the scheduled tours.

Palermo is a treasure trove of things to see and do.

First decide what you'd like to see. Be sure to contact a licenced guide as required by law for historical and archaeological sites.

Contact Francesca Lombardo, Conchita Vecchio, or Jackie Alio around Palermo.

If basing in Marsala, then Marsala is the optimal use of your time.

Surely attractions in Marsala, and then also Mozia and Mazara del Vallo.
