First time to Tenerife and wonder is it straightforward enough to walk from baggage claim to coach park?

I can't walk too far or manage steep ramps etc so hopefully there are lifts/escalators between airport buildings and coach park.

I'm always heading out of the exit towards the taxi rank, which is up escalators or lift. From memory, I think the exit for the coach park is on the flat and they park almost immediately outside the door - say 30 metres minimum. Obviously there can be a lot of coaches so your actual walking distance could be a bit further.

Are you getting airport assistance from the plane to baggage claim? It can be quite a wlak otherwise.

I haven't arranged assistance but as long as I can access a lift or escalator I should be able to manage ok.

Thanks very much for your reply

Hi arrivals is on the flat, short walk from baggage collection to the coach park, about 300yds. The coach park is quite big though. On return you check in on the ground floor but then security is upstairs.

Yes it a definate flat walk from picking up your cases .You personally might find it easier to use a trolley rather than carrying or pulling a wheeled suit case .just in case have a one euro coin ready .Also mind kerb edges either using a trolley or just walking .Coach transfer involve steps getting in to the coach mentioning this in case its not crossed your mind or thinking they are like public buses .If this is a problem you should consider using a taxi .Regards Oleg

Thanks Oleg. Will definitely use a trolley - good to know that you need a coin for the trolley.

The few steps onto the coach won't cause me any problems.

If you have walking difficulties, as I have, I would definitely use airport assistance. It may be a short walk from luggage reclaim to your coach, but there are other distances to consider.

At this side it can be a long walk from check in to your gate and at Tenerife it can be a long walk from the plane to luggage reclaim.

The assistance you receive is fantastic and they help you with your luggage too.
