Just wondering if anyone know if you can take your own bike across to Porquerolles?
I don't know but why not check the ferry website or email or call them?
Did check website but couldn't see any info regarding taking bikes, but will send email good idea :) thanks
Its on the website:
Le transport aller/ retour des vélos pour Porquerolles au départ de la Tour Fondue est payant à savoir :
Vélo adulte : 14.50 €
Vélo enfant : 11.50 €
Took me 10 sec. of Google searchEdited: 27 July 2016, 20:07
Ah thank you very much! If only my eyes worked as well as yours ay!
When I was there last year, a local from the Hyeres Tourist Office advised me that the best deal was to rent one once you're on the island (unless you're especially attached to your own trusty steed).
I think I always paid 15 Euro or so for an afternoon.
Thanks, that's useful to know. I think hiring one on the island seems cheaper option. Or just walking :)
