hello - we want to visit the fishing ports of brittany - which ones do you suggest??
douarnenez, audierne,
the most known is the costal area from penmarch to loctudy via le guilvinec, lechiagat and lesconil
and then concarneau
Thank you - which port is the best to stay in?/ we like to be near nice restaurants etc and maybe with a sea view? any suggestions?
if you want to be in the real "port ambiance" choose Le Guilvinec or Penmarch (maybe penmarch with the rocky coast) ) they nearly live only for the fishing industry
Douarnenez is a nice small town a little bit bigger(15.000 people) than Guilvinec and Penmarch and more lifefull
Audierne is the medium size between Douarnenez and Penmarch, (maybe my favorite but there is no specific reason) a very nice place with some good restaurant (le goyen, la pecherie)
concarneau is very touristic in summer and is the less "typical" of all
Thank you - we will try the towns you mentioned
