Jack Rabbits opposite the Cathedral is good. Doesn't open until 10.00 on a Sunday though.

Walking past the Cathedral and down Irongate on the right is The Standing Order, a Wetherspoons pub which will do breakfasts. Always open early.

There's no other cafes in the immediate vicinity.

Jack Rabbits is closed at the moment. Not sure if it will re-open.

Portobello do high class breakfast cobs - doubt they will be open on Sunday though.

Hide Burger Bar is excellent, and they do much more than burgers. Brunch from 10am on Sunday.

Bear on Iron Gate looks like a good bet for breakfast too, though I haven't been in myself.

If you walk towards the intu shopping centre on Saturday I think you will find lots more basic cafés doing all day breakfast but, again, I don't know if many will be open on Sunday.

Hide and Bear are both great. Bookcafe on irongate and The kitchen on saddlergate are also good breakfast options.

Acropolis cafe on the Market Place for the cheapest breakfast in the area - decent quality too. It opens on Saturday; not sure about Sunday - probably closed, I think.
