Best place for Fish and Chips

We will be in Devonport in early February. I've read that "Fish and Chips" is a must. Where in Devonport is the tastiest? Any other local traditions? Thanks in advance to all the "Fodorites" for your help:)

i would recommend the fish and chip shop on the right hand side of victoria rd. It is about 3/4 of the way up the road heading towards Mt Victoria.
