Fraud

We payed 4.500 € for our vacations in villa Fiddler's Green from February 12th to 26th, 2016. Ten days after the payment in January owner Mr. Morley said, that he didn't receive the money. Our bank verified the payment and confirmed that the payment was effetuated on Mr. Morley's bank account. We e-mailed the fact to Mr. Morley but he didn't respond to us anymore.

Three weeks after the payment for the Villa Fiddler's Green we didn't receive any confirmation of reservation. Mr. Morley has become unreachable for us. We were forced to book a new villa and make a complaint at the police station.

We honestly paid the Villa Fiddler's Green, but we could only drive past and helplessly watch it.

You may also want to make a formal complaint with the tourism office. My family had a similar issue in the Bahamas and they worked very hard to help us get some money back.

Just a suggestion.

Thank you very much for the information. I foward the complaint at the police station to my bank and fortunelly my bank has been able to recovered 30 % up to now.

I'm glad you have been satisfied.

However, one thought occurred to me. Just because you had a misunderstanding with management...does not mean fraud.
