Get in a taxi and go to Mary's Boon for the day. Swim, relax, eat, have a beverage.

thats a nice suggestion. Mary's Boon is lovely. but you also could get a day pass at Holland House hotel on the boardwalk and just relax there. Lots to do on the boardwalk.

the Holland House package is:

"The package we offer is $25 and includes;

- 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella from the time you arrive

- 4 beverages consisting of beers, water and soda.

- Free WiFi

- Shower on the beach that you can use.

We serve lunch on the beach and have a full cocktail menu available for your. Bathrooms are inside of the hotel and free to use.

First come, first serve. We do not take reservations."

In case you want to make reservations for lunch, please email oceanlounge@hollandhousehotel.com

Kind regards! Holland House Team

Rent a car..tour the entire island.

Take plenty of pix & document the area you took them.

Publish all on TripAdvisor...folks are hungry for current info

Active, adventuresome 70-something’s?

Or laid back, time to relax 70-somethings?

according to Holland House information above, as I understand it, you cannot reserve a day pass but you can reserve lunch.

I actually stayed at Mary's Boon over the weekend. It's a quaint, pretty place on the beachfront. Also, buses are about $2 and travel frequently, which can save on taxi rides if you are the walking type.
