When is mosquito season in Cozumel?

I have been to Cozumel many times, and remember long ago a miserable time with mosquitoes. However, most recently I have gone in November and June. There were no mosquitoes. My next trip is in October, so should I be prepared? Anyone keep up with this? I do take spray every time, but haven't needed it recently.

Yes, absolutely!!! Pack plenty of it. October is still the rainy season and the little monsters will be there waiting.....

However, I'm going in September and they will have gorged themselves stupid on me. So you may be safe!!!
