simpson bay resort d building

I have read many reviews on this site regarding the b building, f building, and the marina buildings.... What about the d building? That is where we are staying as it was the only two bedroom exchange available?

I have always liked the D building for its location. There are a few factors though that may make or break your experience with the room. Some views were fully or partially blocked awhile back when they built the Villa building on the water. Some, not all. Also, some of the ones at the end are close to the Hollywood Casino and I have heard some people complain about the noise at night, although I have stayed there and can't really say it was an issue. I like the central location within the resort. It has the D pool, which is a lovely natural shaped pool with a hillside view of the ocean, right across the street. It is not a far walk down to the beach and if you like the casino and Red Piano it is not a far walk back to your room at night. The rooms are older and I do not know if they have been updated but a 2 BR should be nice and roomy. There is usually parking available right outside your door.
