Doubles are a tasty Trinidadian treat. I found Frank and Latta selling doubles in Grand Anse near the round about. Very affordable and delicious.

Doubles are 2 fried bakes with a seasoned chic pea mix in between.

Vital however is an availability/addition of local hand made sauces - garlic, shadon bene, hot, very hot, tambran [tamarind] plus ketchup lol...

They are always very messy to eat...

Its one of the lovely things about trinidad, piarco airport has a local food court by the terminal. Makes the 6am flight worth it for doubles or filled bakes of all sorts.
